If you think you have what it takes to become a tutor, CB Tutoring welcomes you with open arms.

Before you become a tutor, please know the Responsibilities of a Tutor:

  • You are responsible for helping you student to the best of your ability
  • You must bring a positive attitude to each tutoring session, making sure that your student feels welcome
  • You are responsible for establishing a fixed schedule (date and time) for your students, and are also responsible for ensuring that this schedule is adhered to
  • If you are unable to make it to a scheduled session, you are responsible for contacting your student at least 48 hours in advance of the session by e-mail
  • If you are getting volunteer or CAS hours, please pick up and tell your student to sign the tutor tracking form, which is available in the opportunity room (rm.256).


At the beginning of every year, teachers will hand out Tutor Sign Up Forms if you are interested in becoming a tutor.
