Quick Facts

• The Colonel By Senior Concert Band is made up of students from grade 9-12.
• As it is concert band, there are only wind and percussion instruments.
• The senior band plays at numerous assemblies, concerts, and music nights, as well as participating in regional, national, and international competitions.

If you are interested in joining, you should get the audition piece from Mr. Porter in June, practice it over the summer, and sign up for an audition the next September. Spots in the band depend on the number of grade 12s leaving the band this year and the instrument you play.

The band practices every Monday and Thursday in the music room. It is conducted by Mr. Porter.
